i was over £50k in unsecured debt

i was over £50k in unsecured debt. I was managing but only just, one bump in the road and that all changed. I contacted Step Change after looking at my options, they never judged me just went through my spending and income and gave me clear concise options. I opted to enter a Debt Management Plan, filled in a consent form and that was it. I have been in my DMP for four years now and am down to about £11k debts with many paid off already. I am due to be debt free in September 2025 and can't wait. Step Change also teach how to budget for everything including those little unexpecting things in life. I would certainly recommend anyone who is struggling with debt not to ignore it and get help now, it will change your stress levels and take the weight off, no more being chased by debt collectors.
