Professional, comforting advice

Due to ill health and a job change we were spiralling into debt. Stepchange helped us organise our finances and debts so we could repay them in a structured manner while keeping a roof over our heads. Five years later we are now debt free and grateful for the help Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Professional, helpful, reassuring and honest service

We fell into difficulties due to changes of employment. We struggled on for some time but reached a point where we were borrowing money from one source to pay another, paying only the minimum on our credit cards and quickly sinking. By contacting Step Change we finally had someone who could help us without judgement. Our payments have become manageable, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and we have a point of contact to talk to is we have any worries. Reviewed on: 5th May 2024
