A godsend in this current climate

Like many in the current economic climate, I have been experiencing financial difficulties, with the anxieties that these have invoked. The advisor that I spoke with at StepChange did much to reassure me and provided no-nonsense advice for getting my finances back in some sort of order. The relief that I felt at getting my concerns voiced and listened to, with the practical steps suggested that I take have helped lift some of the pressure that I have been feeling. There’s still a long way to go, but now that I’ve made the first ‘step’ then I feel less anxious about tomorrow. The service that they provide (and it’s free) is a godsend to individuals like myself who are feeling the impact of this current government’s economic policy, where those with little are being squeezed ever tighter.
