Stepchange - an amazing company!

In 2017, someone got access to my bank account. Back then, security wasn't quite as good as it is now, and I had no idea what had happened until the next day. As well as taking all the money, they also arranged an instant loan, and took that toot. The money was transferred to an offshore account, and that was the end of it, leaving me with no money, and no way of repaying my bills, and the loan repayments. When I spoke to my bank, they suggested I contact Stepchange, and they were brilliant. They contacted all the people I couldn't pay, and sorted an affordable monthly payment, so I didn't have to keep worrying about being in debt, which I had never been in before. 9 years on, I'm still paying it off, but at least I can get on with my life, and not gave to worry about people knocking on my door for money. Stepchange helped me sleep again!

Back in 2017 I had my bank account scammed, and they even set up a loan to generate more, and this was all done in my name. Bank security wasn't quite as good then, and I didn't discover this until the following day, by which the money had been transferred to an account which was never traced, hence I never got anything back. This put me in a huge financial state, not having enough money to pay my bills, plus the repayments on the 'loan' that had been taken out. I read about Stepchange on line, and contacted them. They were brilliant, and took care of everything. 7 years on, I'm still paying it back, but at least I'm not being hassled by credit companies or bailiffs.
