Banking made easy

I've been using Starling for over a year now, and after 8 months, made them my main current account. Before this I was a pure branch-only banker (I can hear the gasps), and didn't even use online banking. It's pretty much been a game changer for me. Having instant notifications is great for budgeting (as well as from a security standpoint), and the granular control over your card is something I've yet to see anywhere else. You can lock the entire card, or just a subset of features. It is also integrating with a whole host of products via its marketplace to help keep tabs on your finances. CS isn't available instantly, but the response time has been perfectly acceptable for all issues I've had so far. On the whole, I've been really impressed, and hope they continue to grow/improve at the rate they have this last year. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018
