I recommend them having made two claims over the years

I’ve had to make a claim from Eversure twice over the years - once for a replacement tyre in France and once for a scratch on the hire car in Sicily. Both times, Eversure were very helpful and paid me promptly. I recommend them Reviewed on: 7th October 2026

Excellent service, good app, very reliable

Been with First Direct for over 30 years. We now bank with them online but occasionally still need to talk to them by phone and they’re always quick to answer any happy to help. Reviewed on: 16th August 2026

Review of the Eversure, Car hire excess insurance:

Excellent service. Recommend.

I’ve had to claim from Eversure twice over the years - both times, they’ve been very helpful and efficient. The first time was when I had a puncture requiring the tyre to be replaced. However the garage had to replace two tyres to maintain consistency with my excess insurance paying for the second one. The other time was when someone dented my car in a car park. Competitive savings rates, challenging set up process

Recommendation from Martin Lewis website as providing very competitive interest rates for instant access accounts. Setting up the account proved to be a nightmare however and in stark contrast to pure online banking which is much slicker. Once I’d finally got the account set up, the process is very good (with a market leading interest rates) Reviewed on: 11th February 2026
