The worse breakdown cover I have used.

I got this insurance for breakdown cover because it was cheap and I had a discount through work, and it was the absolute worst. They took literally 5 hours to arrive when they said one hour when my car broke down near my house, and I had to miss work. They gave no updates either. I submitted a formal complaint and they compensated me a measly £20, but the quality of breakdown cover and the time taken was awful. I also live right in the middle of a big city, so it was not like I was in the middle of nowhere. It was also after 9am, so not rush hour either. They also only allow two callouts for breakdown and then make you take your car to the garage, so not suitable for cars with old batteries or have frequent issues. Start Rescue is cheap for a reason. Buying the insurance

Excellent service made easy and with no fuss, especially when several days after buying the 5star cover, it was necessary to bring the start date forward by a month because of problems with AA. Change made immediately! No problem. Staff very friendly and efficient . Great. Reviewed on: 8th August 2021
