Women need to invest in stock and share isas, Ethical ones provided by Wealthify are easy to use and are not scary for the first time investor

As an older woman who has never invested in a stock and shares ISA before, I heard on the radio that whilst women invest more cash Isas than men, the opposite is true for investing in stocks and shares Isas that tend to provide higher returns. This was my profile, and I was getting very little for my investment in a cash Isa. So I decided to give it a try and looked for a stock and shares ISA that was ethical, provided clear information on the products they were investing in, had reasonably low charges and a good rate of return. After doing research, I found Wealthify and invested a small lump sum and regular monthly amount. I have been more than pleased with my returns so much so that each month I put in any money I have left over to top up my investment. Wealthify send me regular updates informing me that my payments have been received, of any changes they are making to my investment and provide a clear platform for me to navigate to find out what’s going on with my investment. It is of note that I am not very technically savvy but I found the system very easy to use. I have encouraged friends and family to invest in Wealthify who offer a small incentive for me to do this and also for the person to join. Reviewed on: 18th January 2022

accessible investing

I wanted an easy to track ISA with an ethical slant as my other investments do not have that. I find the app easy to use and its fun keeping track of how things are doing in a quick and easy way. I've recommended to my daughter as a non-scary way of getting into investing and getting more than 0.5% return on her hard earned money. Reviewed on: 18th January 2022
