Such a shame - abandoned small investors starting out

I was very excited to continue my investing journey with Vanguard having switched from a previous provider. However recent difficulties trying to add funds and their new fee structure have put me off. Adding cash manually became a chore for some reason. My browser (various) and app began to hang on a waiting page after following the instructions to no avail. Support responded swiftly but non of their suggestions made a difference. Several attempts and their new fee structure have given me good reason to move on to another platform. I did like the simplicity of a fund only platform, no temptation to mess about with stocks. Vanguard ISA

I've really enjoyed investing in the vanguard ISA. It's easy to use, the website is straightforward to access and the cost is lower than similar DIY platforms. There's a great selection of funds available too, but I invest in a diversified global tracker. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

A minimum Platform fee of £48 per year for people w...

A minimum Platform fee of £48 per year for people with less than £32,000 in their account is just not on. I thought that they would scrap the Platform Fee to remain competitive with other platforms instead the introduced a minimum of £4 per month. They do not compete with others. They will lose a lot of customers for doing this. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2025
