WiseAlpha gives access for ordinary people to invest in corporate bonds, so whereas peer-to-peer lending means you loan money to individuals or small companies, WiseAlpha enable you to lend to very large companies most of whom are household names. The WiseAlpha platform is user-friendly and intuitive, and the team are accessible if you have any questions. You can invest from £100 upwards, and the returns are very impressive, especially given that corporate bonds are by definition less risky that owning shares.
