Please proceed with caution. I was defrauded by this company on two separate occasions. Fortunately, I received assistance from a recovery service recommended by a trusted friend who had also incurred substantial financial losses from the same scam. After reaching out to the firm, they clearly outlined the required documentation and provided guidance on how to identify fraudulent organizations. By following their instructions, I was able to recover my funds totaling $493,730 within two days. I am extremely relieved and appreciative of the outcome. I had a SIPP and an ISA with Bestinvest for many years and was quite happy. The choice of investments was wide and varies and web site easy to use until they updated it last year. Now it is difficult to see what you want because of annoying pop ups. it was only when I wanted to transfer out of BI that I discovered that their customer service is diabolically slow, condescending and ego-centric. They simply don’t give a dam and haven’t learnt how to say sorry for getting things so terribly wrong. I am now pleased that I moved my funds and hope that its not out of the frying pan and into the fire. Reviewed on: 25th June 2024

Overly expensive and slow to respond

I have had a SIPP with Bestinvest for a few years now, and what with the massive increase in fees and the fact that their website is frequently not capable of processing transactions, I look forward to leaving them ASAP. Reviewed on: 16th January 2022

Lazy and inept on their best days

I have a SIPP with BESTINVEST, worst financial decision I ever made. They massively increased the cost by adding a £120 yearl charge on top of their fees. The website is slow and frequently is unable to perform transactions. Avoid Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Fairly easy to buy shares, but very expensive

I have a SIPP which I run myself. Bestinvest suddenly introduced and enormous £120 charge p.a. This is on top of all of the other fees they charge. Their customer service is not very good but not terrible, but this new charge means I am looking to move away as soon as practical Reviewed on: 22nd November 2019

Wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them

Invested in their SIPP, suddenly they whack on a massive yearly charge of £120. on top of all of the other fees and charges. As soon as I am able to move from them I will. Reviewed on: 30th July 2019

Easy to set up

This is an easy to set up SIPP, but frequent problems whilst running it and the new charge mean I am looking to move ASAP Reviewed on: 2nd December 2018

They never reply in a timely manner

They do not do much for their fee, and getting a reply out of them is like getting blood from a stone. Try their competition, they don't give clear answers and are generally poor. Reviewed on: 9th June 2017
