Currensea is a travel debit card that links to your existing bank account.

There are three Currensea plans. Essential is subscription fee free, Premium and Elite plans do have an annual subscription fee but have no foreign exchange charges.

Simple and money saving FX debit card

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to use this card in 2020 on an holiday in Greece. The set-up process had been easy, using the card was simnple with plenmty of detasil in the app. I checked the rates against the savings claims of Currensea when I got back and found that I had saved more than the estimate. The max transaction size control on the card was also helpful. Loved it. It should be noted I'm a small investor in Currensea but I wouldn't make thses comments unless they were true. Simpler than you could ever imagine. Works like a debit card. The moment you spend, you get an email/text to inform you. It gives the best best of best on the market. I have researched a lot and I guarantee that Currensea gives the best rates. It has contactless too. It’s simply connected to your bank account, which means the moment you spend, it will reserve/withdraw funds from your bank account. Reviewed on: 19th January 2021

My Currensea card is brilliant. It was really easy to set up, there is no need to top up another account and it has saved me lots of money. I have also been able to use some of the savings to plant trees and help save the planet. Reviewed on: 19th January 2021

This card is the solution to all those painful fees and opaque costs that one has had to put up with when using debit/credit cards abroad - the card couldn't be easier to set up and you see the cost savings from the moment you start using it.
