There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Brilliant for encouraging saving and understanding money

My son is called Henry so he’s super happy with his card. He likes checking the balance on his kindle and planning the next thing to save for. My youngest rarely spends anything but then is starting to understand that it’s important to make the right decision with your pocket money, as it takes a long time to build up to enough for the things she really wants. Cash for kids is one swipe away..

Outstanding app for teaching kids about money

I work for HSBC bank and a colleague recommended Go Henry. I have been so impressed, the whole app is much better than what we offer to young children. Is was extremely easy to set up the account - it took less than five minutes. There are loads of features which are great for kids, we love using the function where you can set activities to earn their pocket money - for example 50p for cleaning teeth, one pound for doing homework. This works really well. The personalised contactless card is excellent. It’s easy to top up money on the account and I also really like the fact that when the card is used you get a text immediately with transaction details - so we can track what our daughter spends. Overall I have been super impressed and have been recommending to family l, friends and colleagues! Reviewed on: 5th November 2019

Good way to start young banking

I can give my children a regular income and let them have the independence of managing their money. Have regular updates on how much they have spent and where they are when in town. Girls given the opportunity to earn extra and set targets to earn more pocket money. Reviewed on: 5th November 2019

Great and easy

We love Go Henry. It works well for us. My 14 year old enjoys managing his money and being able to view his account via the simple to use app. He recently lost his wallet and I was able to immediately block his card and then reinstate it when he found it again giving us both peace of mind. Help my children control their spending, also for family and friends to gift mayhem money, you can see what they are spending and where, set up chores, they can save for holidays for their own spending money and gives them a sense of responsibility!
