GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

GoHenry has given my son independence and accountability for his own money: he has learned to save for what he wants and feels responsible for his own card (which he loves as it has Spider-Man on!) he’s even offered to buy mummy a coffee with his savings! Reviewed on: 20th April 2025

App works well with a wide range of useful controls, but the service isn’t cheap and can be a little clunky to use. Did have a couple of issues when weekly allowance not paid due to system fault, even though funds were available. Reviewed on: 20th April 2025

Good but expensive for an app

GoHenry is a great way to help children learn financial responsibility, take pride in earning pocket money for chores and have a higher level of independence, however I do feel charging a monthly charge to parents isn't right and it's quite expensive for just having an app. Reviewed on: 20th April 2025

GoHenry is a great way for my son to learn the value of money. It also encourages him to do jobs! It’s a good start for a valuable work ethic. Using the app is easy and well laid out. Topping up is straightforward and fuss free. I like the options as his parent to choose the way he can use the money online or not etc. As well as amount limits! Reviewed on: 20th April 2025
