Ripe Shooting insurance 69% increase

I have had Gunplan/Ripe Shooting insurance for many years - however, this year they have increased my renewal by 69% !! - to £78 (I have never made a claim) - while a new customer will get the same level of cover for just £48 - it's like being punished for being loyal! Reviewed on: 18th July 2025

The best Insurance for Game & Clay Shooters by far

I am leaving shooting, so not renewing my policy this year. The team were very sensitive and managed my plan to not renew quickly and positively. I have always loved their service, support and cover, and first left BASC membership with their included PI cover years ago because they are such a greedy and useless voice for shooting in the UK. I added all my gun insurances to the Ripe team, taking that off my Home Insurance Policy and saving me money, with much much better cover. I have recommended this policy to numerous other guns, who have moved to Ripe. No-one has ever been anything but delighted with the organisation. I am not leaving your cover, I am leaving shooting and will have no gins to insure by the time I get to the renewal date. So thank you and keep doing what you do. Reviewed on: 16th July 2025
