Been with this company for a.few years now I have had no reason to change they have always been professional and prompt to answer inquiries, they remain competitive with their quotes and therefore I have no reason to leave . Reviewed on: 24th September 2026

Refused cover after making one Claim in numerous years.

I have used Insure4Boats for many years. Earlier this year I had to make a Claim (my first one). My current policy expires in October. I recently requested a quote for an additional smaller boat, they refused me as I had made a Claim. They are also refusing to renew my existing Policy. I am astounded to be honest, this is shocking customer services. Reviewed on: 15th September 2026

Friendly response to LiFe’s big question.

I asked them if I was covered on my policy to have LiFepo batteries on my narrowboat and whether I could charge them with my solar system when the boat was unattended. They gave me a really friendly email in reply the next day with links showing me where on the policy I was covered for the upgraded leisure batteries but that other lithium batteries for example in children’s toys or bikes should not be charged whilst unattended.
