Hi fellow boaters if you're anything like me its the easy life I often go with and this was the case with my boat insurance,I just paid for standard 3rd party what came as an option when paying my annual fees to the club,it did the job and kept them of my back,until recently one of the members told me about insure4boats and that for approx £7 more i could have fully comp,sounded really good so I followed his simple advice and he was right a doddle to sign up and very basic details given, and my I think about £80 paid i was up and running with fully comp and I had that almost smug feeling of being fully comp for nearly the same price, a few things it covers which I never really thought about was if your boat sinks you can be responsible for the recovery depending where it it sunk perish the thought, this itself could be a small fortune on top of your loss and that alone is a good enough reason to have this cover, and I also find myself not checking the boatyard cameras half as much as I used to just to make sure the boat is still where I parked it, all in all this was a fabulous recommendation and I will recommend it to you.
