Knowledgable advisors and practical advice

I used L&C when looking for my first mortgage in 2024. The team were very knowledgable and friendly, and helped me through the process from obtaining a decision in principle, to being accepted by my lender. My advisor obtained a variety of mortgage offers, including from banks I would not have thought to apply directly myself. He also helped me to filter through the offers to find the deal that was best for me, including practical advice about product fees, cashback and the reputation and customer service of some of the lenders. In the end I was very happy with the product I chose, and I could not have done it without L&C. L&C provided a free service and were very transparent about any commission arrangements and how they make their money. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026
