Insurance Choice Awards 2021 Winners!

Winners of the sixth Insurance Choice Awards, run by Smart Money People, were announced today, 4^thNovember, in a digital awards event on Twitter and LinkedIn.

After 13 weeks of intense voting, Smart Money People received over 50,000 votes across 23 award categories to determine the winners of the Insurance Choice Awards 2021.

As the awards are based 100% on consumer votes, they really showcase and recognise the companies that have worked hard over the last 12 months to offer great products and customer service. There were also five companies who were awarded a highly commended in the Insurance Choice Awards:

Household name Saga walked about with ‘Best Big Insurance Company’ for a second year running, as well as achieving ‘Best Home Insurance Provider’ and highly commended for their car insurance.

Collingwood Insurance Services were awarded ‘Treated Customers Fairly Champion’, a new accolade for the organisation in 2021. Commenting on their results Helen Shields, Contact Centre Director, said:

Laka were crowned winner in three separate categories in 2021 – Treating Customers Fairly Champion, Innovation of the Year for their new health and recovery insurance policy and Best Cycle Insurance Provider. Commenting on their wins, Tobias Tauptiz, CEO of Laka ,said:

“Winning Best Cycle Insurance Provider for the fourth year in a row is a phenomenal achievement. The Caravan & Motorhome Club continued their success in the Insurance Choice Awards for 2021 with two awards. Commenting on their achievements, Julie Constable, Head of Financial and Insurance Services, said:

"We are absolutely delighted to have won the Caravan Cover Provider of the Year award for the fifth year running and the Motorhome Insurance Provider award for the third year running. Winning two Insurance Choice Awards is a fantastic achievement and it means a huge amount to us to know we are serving our members well.

I would like to thank all our members who kindly voted for us and everyone involved in our Cover and Insurance teams, who are continuously improving our products and services for our members."

Mayfair Insurance were a new entrant to the Insurance Choice Awards in 2021, and in their first year achieved three wins – Customer Service Champion, Best Commercial Insurance Broker and Best Personal Insurance Broker. Commenting on their achievements, Guy Moliterno, Managing Director, said:

“We were delighted to have been nominated in this year's Insurance Choice Awards and to then hear, Mayfair Insurance had become a finalist in five category awards was very exciting.
