They have very friendly and knowledgable staff in every branch

I recently went into a Santander branch which I had not previously visited, with the intention of finding out why a certain payment had been refused on my account. I had received a text message to alert me to possible fraudulent activity on my account. The lady on the information counter was very friendly and polite and pointed me in the direction of one of their internal telephones which I was told to use, in the hope I could resolve the matter. I managed to get through straight away and the matter was solved within about 10 minutes. Needless to say, I was very happy with the standard of service I received that day.
