A great way to keep on top of your taxes if you are self-employed

One of the biggest causes of small businesses closing is cashflow problems. This is often due to not being able to meet the tax bill at the end of the year. With Coconut you are able to get a good sense of your tax estimate but also log your taxable expenses when bought using your Coconut card and upload the receipts straight away so you don't have to go around hunting for receipts at the end of the tax year. As a self-employed person I feel that it is saving me on accountancy expenses although as a business grows and the finances become more complex it can be used in tandem with an accountant.
