Unhelpful and patronising customer services

I recently lost my job and contacted Tesco to see what my options were re: my credit card debt with them. They could not have been less helpful. Their solution to my problem was to give me the option of an increased interest rate, or to close my account. Needless to say, I chose the latter! Won’t be banking with Tesco EVER again.
