BDCU is great but can be greater very soon.

BDCU is a good bank, but could improve on a few aspects to support customers. For example, on many occasions I have logged in where I needed to transfer money urgently into my debit card account but unfortunately the site was undergoing maintenance and this happens on more than one occasion. It could be due to updates taking place and the system goes offline to upload new transactions coming and going, but BDCU should have a backup system for this to happen for the peace of mind of customers. If someone has a genuine emergency (needs to attend an appointment or medical health issue where quickest way to reach is to make payments in cash or card) then they could be stuck and this could cause serious problems. Also the transfers in and out of the account can take a day or over to be complete, if this could also be resolved then I would say this bank is the best provider in the entire UK (world!) If a larger server and database could be established then another aspect of owning an account could be changed such as providing reference and surname to receive funds is sometimes difficult as not all organisations have this option to provide when transactions need to be made. If a storage server which can accommodate say the full population of the UK could be established allowing each customer to obtain own unique sort codes and account numbers this would be ideal and without a doubt make BDCU the greatest financial establishment (being number one now) for the next 100 years and beyond! Regardless of slow operating systems, the customer service agents and staff are exceptional and their support, efforts and help are what make BDCU the number one bank to join and promote.
