Judge them after you’ve had to make a claim.

I’ve been insured several times by Voyager but the reason I keep returning is that having had experience of a claim being dealt with fairly and professionally in the past, is always a good indicator of how likely they will deal with any future issues should they arise. Excellent travel insurance company

You can only rate any insurance company based on your experience of making a claim. I had to make a claim against the company due to my wife contracting Covid 19 on a cruise in 2023. The claim was settled with little fuss. I’ve used them twice since; both for cruises, fortunately no claim was involved but on both occasions I had to contact the company before the cruise began. Once to extend the period of cover by a couple of days beyond the limits set and most recently due to confusion on my part about adding an item of specialist cover. On both occasions my telephone contact with the company was handled successfully by their staff in a professional, courteous and in a friendly manner. Cover for pre-exsisting conditions is excellent and good value. Would definitely recommend Voyager. Reviewed on: 11th July 2024
