Bought warranty for hotpoint gas cooker.

Bought warranty for hotpoint gas cooker. Fault found after 15 months. Engineer from Pacifica came expecting to fix a Belling Electric Oven (which is in our caravan) Said he would get new thermostat, then wrote to say job completed, then emailed to say they dont fix Hotpoint Cookers. Now spent 1.5 hours on premium rate phone calls & cannot get anywhere, even on supposedly live chat. Engineer said D&G regulary make mistakes. Retailer said they would not use them. Not even an address to write to on their policy document. Dire! Reviewed on: 24th October 2024
