Keep checking rates people!

My initial mortgage rate was secured by a broker so easy first time round, but second time round not so much. The Customer services team are very good and helpful but I'm not impressed that now I have agree a new fixed rate which will start in November that it is down to me to regularly check the mortgage rates available between now and then?! Surely Saffron should advise you if a lower rate becomes available? Not great customer service that could potentially cost a lot each month if you are not vigilant and keep checking.
