Review of the Nationwide, Home Insurance:

Finally, my own home.

I recently moved home and one of the legal requirements of purchasing my property, and before being able to exchange contracts, involved purchasing buildings/home insurance. This enables one party to be covered before actually taking ownership of a property should anything wrong. I did a lot of homework online and by asking friends and found likely potentials but at rather a high cost. As I already had a savings account with Nationwide it was easy to enquire in one of their high street branches if they provided this kind of insurance, which they did. The procedure was done over the phone and was relatively easy. The cost was more affordable and I have the assurance of not only going into a branch but making a simple phone call if ever needed. Protectivity not only has, in my first year of needing specialist insurance, provided me with help and advice on a range of possibilities.
