Protection against unexpected damage.

The terms and conditions of the insurance cover looked a bit harsh when I first read through them but the pricing was very competitive. We have only ever had to make a claim once in the 27 years we have lived here and that was for a burst underfloor water pipe a long time ago. Before signing up to Policy Expert I spoke to one of their customer service advisors about my concerns but when he explained that their cover was intended to protect against unexpected damage and not age-related deterioration, it made absolute sense.
