99% payment of all claims in 5 working days, not so.

I took out a Gold Plus policy with All Clear, unfortunately due to a medical emergency I had to cancel my holiday five weeks before we were due to fly. What All Clear don't tell you is that any claim you make is forwarded to a claims handling agency. I put my claim in almost 5 weeks ago and so far have had no response other that accepting receipt of my claim. All Clear are excellent at taking your money but extremely slow at resolving claims. They claim to pay a 99% of all claims within 5 working days, not so. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2024

I am sorry to hear that you have not yet received an update on the status of your claim. 99%+ is based on non-assistance claims approved for payment during May 2023 to May 2024 on AllClear branded policies only. 5 working day window commences when insurers have received all relevant information and documentation to confirm claims cover. As a company we are keen to reach out to our claims company for them to provide an update on your case and to gain a further insight into the delay experienced.
