Review of the InvestEngine, Investment platform:

Moved all my money into InvestEngine from Trading 212.

Moved my investments from trading 212 to investengine due to simplicity, and because I think it will enable me to invest steadily over a long period of time. Other apps, where you can buy individual stocks end up being gamified, constantly checking the changes and making impulsive decisions. I like that I can invest in only ETF’s and build wealth constantly without worrying too much what’s going on in the stock market each day. I’d love to see some improvements to the data being displayed on the etf and a better search/filter functionality to find the perfect etfs I.e. finding an all world etf that does not include the S&P 500 companies. With the AI being so mainstream now, it would also be good to have something that reviews my portfolios and its trends a provides recommendations, i.e. “your portfolio has grown by x% to help retain these gains from future down turns consider increasing you bonds % by x”. Overall I’m a big fan of investengine, it’s a solid 9 out of 10, and simple tweaks like the above make it a 10. Reviewed on: 30th January 2025
