Putting the big banks to shame...

When one of the big high-street banks couldn't change my wife's account to her married name after two appointments and then telling us it would take 10 days... we walked into Metro Bank. 40 minutes later, we'd opened a joint account and walked out with debit cards, a chequebook and working internet banking. Our nearest branch is open both days of the weekend which makes it so much easier if we need to go there. The staff are always exceptionally helpful - and the dog gets free biscuits.
