Time-saving, efficient and life-changing

Free to use, easy to use and efficient. I love how quick you can create a link and personalise the link with things like GIFs and the reason for payment. This makes tracking payments so much more convenient than using a checklist. The speed at which others can make a payment means that a) they don’t have to waste time worrying about filling in the sort code, name and account number wrong and b) you’re more likely to get your money transferred quickly. I also love that you can link it to one bank account, even a Revolut account. I know there are some issues with international payments so some people can’t use SPOT but if you link it to your Revolut, you can still see all the transactions in one place (since you can use Revolut for international transfers). I do like that the links expire as you can give pressure to people to pay you back by X date but I wish they could be extended by a few days where necessary. Another pro of Spot is that you can pre-fill the amount box as a lot of people always ask how much they owe you (can get annoying I’m not your finance assistant…) and there’s also an option for the other person to choose how much they need to pay back as well.
