Stunning fraud prevention from day one

When I use my card with a new online site, I get a prompt in the Monzo app asking if I approve this transaction. This happens in real time. This is in addition to real time, pop up notifications on my phone every time something goes in, or out of my account. If legacy banks, including first direct and Barclaycard, offered this in-app approval and notification, online fraud would finally have a fight on its hands. Reviewed on: 15th January 2019
