Tesco auto-renewed my car insurance policy without m...

Tesco auto-renewed my car insurance policy without my consent. I believe auto-renewals should be prohibited by law. Martin Lewis always advises us to compare policies annually, so it’s baffling why auto-renewals are still an option. They should be banned. The policy was also overpriced. When I contacted them the same day to cancel and informed them that I sold the car 10 days ago, they told me I would need to pay a £25.50 cancellation fee.
