Basic rewarding banking

I set up my Chase Bank account primarily so I could use it in America to avoid being charged foreign transaction fees. Now, I’m using it for everyday spending as I love the fact that I get Cashback and a great interest rate on my money. I love the round up feature - it’s rewarding to save without any real effort. I had to issues with my account when I used it abroad. When I had an issue with a pending transaction, the customer service I got was impeccable. I contacted customer service using the instant messaging feature and an agent connected almost instantly to give me advice. I was even allocated a case handler who checked on me the next day. I have been using a mainstream high street bank for many years, and not once have I felt valued in the way I do with Chase. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Help when needed the most

I haven't had any issues with my account. In fact RBS helped me when I went well over my overdraft limit due to a hotel charge. They reimbursed me until the hotel cancelled the preauthorisation. This meant i wouldn't get charged. I was in a right panic and RBS put my mind at ease. The Reward Platinum account itself is a good value account and i use a number of the benefits.
