Fantastic for sole traders

I opened a mettle account after starting my small sole trader business. Initially I was using a high street bank who wanted to charge me business rates. Being a small independent sole trader these fees weren't fair and made my hard work almost not worth it. I heard of mettle and switched. I benefit greatly from their access to freeagent accounting software. No fees and sooo easy to use. Never had any issues with them. I can pay in cash transactions easily without need of going into a town. Mettle is easily laid out and simple to use, I have recommended many friends and other sole traders to open mettle accounts, each one has also been very impressed with the level of service. Webchat has always worked fine and any downtime is notified with plenty of time to plan ahead but has never affected me. Reviewed on: 19th March 2025
