The best thing since sliced bread.

So good for the kids. I have two foster children with me, my own grown up and left the nest so I can see the difference in parenting and teaching the value of money makes using an app like this. They love it, one is 8 the other 12 so the older one also has the app, younger not yet having a smart phone uses it with the card. We had a mountain to climb with many things for these two children when they first came to us, money being just one of many so I appreciate so much the help Hyper Jar had made to teaching good habits and learning to balance spending with saving. I set up two jars for them one for pocket money and one for saving for a rainy day. The third is a jar I have for saving for them for their future that is not going to be touched until they reach 18. The flexibility of what they can see on the app and ease of use brilliant. Its also helpful to be able to track where money is being spent and the instant alerts has I do have to say, save the day on one occasion when the elder child was not where she was supposed to be but Hyper Jar informed me of that indirectly. The features to check pin and the online chat on the web is useful too. My younger child experienced an issue with his pin getting locked and I could not reset it but a 5 minute click to chat got that all sorted out. The feature of being able to share link with another adult to add money is also fantastic. It comes in handy. Drawbacks I struggle to find, I'm a true advocate for Hyper Jar. If I had to pick something it is like many thinks that are new and technical, just the time to get used to understanding how it all works and its features as it has a lot. However it is user friendly and you do get used to it quickly. The more you use it the more you use it the more you realise you could not do without it. Your competitors charge too much for there's too. I did find you by accident a few years ago so I doing something like this competition will be great for your awareness in the marketplace. Thank you to all of you at Hyper Jar. Fostering is hard enough so helping with the money side of teaching the children is one thing off a list of many. Reviewed on: 29th March 2025
