We are loyal customers for our mortgages from Darlington Building Society due to our salary being paid in USD. Darlington Building Society really do look at the individual when assessing for their mortgages. It’s a very personal touch and much appreciated. I have been dealing with the same mortgage adviser for quite a few years at Darlington and she has been excellent. Darlington have made it possible to remain homeowners when other lenders were not interested in the ‘ hassle ‘ of non UK currency salaries. Reviewed on: 7th April 2025
