Review of the Nationwide, Credit Card:

Targeting the vulnerable.

I will never forgove Nationwide for calling me into branc the day I turned 18 and giving me a £2000 overdraft and £3000 credit card. Irresponsible lending at its worst! 5 years later and I'm still paying it all off! Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Efficient but faceless

I like HSBC, I find them reliable and secure and provide all I need. However, my big complaint is the reluctance to even let you get to the counters. At our local branch the counters are upstairs and it feels like a spanish inquisition to be allowed up to them. I much prefer to do some things with a person, not just a machine. Other than that, I am very pleased! Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Does what it says on the tin.

I enjoy being with HSBC, they are reliable and secure. However, my main bug bare about them is that its hard to actually get to a counter at a bank. You seem to get interrogated on arrival at the branch and if it is something that can be solved on the phone you are more or less banned from going upstairs to actually speak to a person. Other than that though, I love how seriously they take my security. It's almost too tricky to transfer and access my money online. They have never given me a reason not to trust them and they do exactly what they say. They are a good, reliable, trustworthy bank, they just seem to shy away from face to face customer service.
