Fast, hassle-free, fully transparent, and best interest rate available - what's not to like?

After first hearing about Zopa on BBC Radio 4 'Money Matters' programme, I decided to check their offering out. I was after a small-ish loan to give me some capital to pay up-front for an academic course, but out of principle I didn't want to entrust the banks with my money. The screening and aplication process was incredibly simple and swift, and the clear explanations around both their P2P model and their T&Cs gave me confidence to apply. The terms and % rate offered were much better than those I found on the high street, and been given the flexibility to repay early or change my monthly amount without financial penalties has made a world difference. Essentially, I feel the peace of mind od having borrowed a few quid from a whole lot of people I can trust and whom I am happily paying back every month without it being a worry. I would definitely recommend that others check out Zopa before going for traditional borrowing, as they too may be pleasantly surprised! Reviewed on: 19th December 2016
