A new kind of current account

My experience with Starling has been fantastic since I joined 9 months ago. Setup is about as seamless as it could be and was easy to fit in around my busy work schedule as I could do it all at home over the app. The app itself feels slick and I can find all of the information that I need very quickly. The spend tracking is as good as anything else I've seen on apps and has helped me understand where my money goes. I've been able to clearly contribute to my savings targets using the 'Goals' space and I've also set up a joint account with my girlfriend (who's also a user now). On the rare occasion that I've had any issues (forgotten password, queried transaction) the customer service reps over text chat responded quickly, were capable and seemed genuinely keen to help. Finally, on top of all of this they offer a 0.5% interest rate on balances in the account. Reviewed on: 9th February 2019
