I have had cause to take out 2 personal loans in the last few years and Zopa have not only delivered on cost and ease of application but there’s never any pressure. A stand out amongst the sharks, so if you qualify grab with both hands. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2022

Simply the best

Just took out my second loan, knowing how good Zopa are; considerably easier to access than my bank, cheaper repayments and I know I can pay off early without penalty, in fact reduce the overall cost by doing so. If you need a low cost loan without the hassle of going through your bank, this is the place. Thoroughly recommended. Reviewed on: 18th February 2021

I needed a car loan and Zopa came up with the goods within hours at the best rate I could find by a mile! Top customer service, good rates and no penalty for early repayment, there are no negatives! This is the best loan company I have ever dealt with! Reviewed on: 5th January 2018

World class banking

I moved to First Direct nearly 30 years ago after being ripped off first by Barclays as a student, then Lloyds after pulling in my first proper wage. Both of these high street dinosaurs pulled me under each month by adding overdraft fees that increased a debt that couldn't be reduced, even though they were well aware of my fixed income. First Direct have always helped me when I've been at my lowest, so I continue with them now my finances are more stable. The products are good, although I hardly need the free overdraft facility, the internet banking is intuitive, easy and secure, assistance when required on the phone is in a language understood in England, but most of all everyone I've ever dealt with in the company is a perfect ambassador for how someone I trust with my money should be. Hassle free loans at the best rates

I was looking for a loan to buy a car and most of the bank rates were pretty much the same, but not only was Zopa's rate lower the terms were better and after deciding to go for it a decision was made almost instantly and the money was in my account within 48 hours. Best financial decision I've made (shame I didn't get such expert advice on the car!). Reviewed on: 20th December 2016
