My Debt Management Plan with StepChange

I was put on a Debt Management Plan 12 months ago, and have just finished repaying my debt. StepChange have literally turned my life around. A year ago I was swimming in debts and could not see the light of the end of the tunnel. But after contacting them, my life took a turn for the better. It's not always been plain sailing - some months were tougher than others, as you always have some unexpected expense which, although still within my budget, put some strain on my finances. But the good thing is that you can always talk to them and see if you need any changes to the budget, or for any advice. For me, the relief was not being chased up by creditors anymore. Now that I have come to the end of the plan, I can finally breath and it feels like I've been given a second life. Anybody can be in a situation like mine - if you happen to be that person, don't despair, but seek help as soon as you can. I wish I had contacted StepChange sooner. They have truly been lifesavers.
