StepChange the best decsion you will ever make

Things got heavy, covid left me in a pickle salary no longer met my outgoings. sleepless nights worrying about meeting the payments the following month after month. The worry and the shame…A few of the lenders recommended i give Step Change a call., at the start I thought NO, I can do this….but is so difficult. Like swimming in custard. My back was against the wall. I had no other option left. 3 years into our plan an I am so glad I made that call. I have to say that it has not been easy a lot of sacrifices had to be made, and we continue to do so. But these have trained us to be smarter, budget much better. As its sits we stand to be debt free (bar mortgage and a wee car) in May 2026. Looking back now and looking ahead makes me quite emotional. Stepchange are a game changer. Don’t wait a minute longer to make the call. The staff are so understanding and helpful. This will be the best decison you have ever made. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025
