StepChange literally changed my life.

To say that StepChange changed my life would be an understatement. I had amassed debts through no real fault of my own (reduced family income along with redundancy and a critical illness in my family), but was losing sleep and worrying about how I could possibly replay back what I owed. StepChange supported me with a realistic debt management plan with my creditors where I could afford monthly payments while stopping interest accruing at a frightening rate. I have almost paid it off now, but my credit score has already improved again which means I have options and hope for the future for me and my family. I should have made these decisions even earlier but was embarrassed. StepChange restored my dignity throughout the whole process - for the first time, I did not feel alone with dealing with my debts.
