Did not know where to turn

I was heavily in debt and did not know which way to turn i couldn't sleep i dreaded the kids needing anything out of very little money we had, I struggled at Christmas and birthdays, I called Step change and was very embarrassed about my situation and when I had to tell them how much debt I was in I felt even worse, however the staff were lovely non judgemental, caring reassuring and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend stepchange without them I don't know where I would be probably getting into more debt, now after7 years I am completely debt free and enjoying life I am not anxious anymore or ashamed and can sleep better, if this sounds like you please give it a go you will never look back and never regret it Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025
