Path forward.

I was scared and overwhelmed having been left with a debt mountain by my husband.I was left to bring the children up with limited means and debt..The debt demands were stressful. I took them to step change who helped negotiate a way forward. 9 years on I've nearly paid my debt off and can see a brighter future..My advice would be to face the debt with an advisor and be realistic on a way through it. Debt is something embarrassing but you will find you are not alone. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025
