User-friendly, easy to set up and good support

I had growing debts with energy companies, credit cards, overdrafts & loans, got so bad I was diagnosed with severe depression & was recommended to try a debt management charity. Chose Step change due to its user-friendliness & was easy to plan a budget. They have dealt with all my debts without much hassle & it's easy to contact them if something urgent. They handle the contacts with the creditors, and help to set a reasonable repayment plan. Website provides good information and advice. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025
