Reply from London Capital Credit Union Hi Laura, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with the outcome. We ask members to complete an income and expenditure assessment so we can review affordability carefully and make responsible lending decisions. Even where the figures appear workable, an application may still be declined if we cannot be confident that the loan is sustainable for the member. We understand this may be frustrating, but our priority is to avoid putting members under further financial pressure. Response date: 9th June 2026
