I have had good and bad experiences with PayPal enough to make me decide to stop using PayPal altogether especially because of bad customer services and not reading comments on disputes and making judgement in favour of rogue companies. PayPal improved a bit over time in those regards, the part I would really like to see improvement in is the option to pay per plan, this option needs to be introduced in addition to the exiting payment style let customers decided how they pay off their balance especially those with 4 months payment plan. My experience with PayPal has been a mixture of good and very bad. PayPal actually need to create a section to allow customers make payments towards the 4 months interest free payment so that those who need their help to manage payments are taken care of just the same way those who want to manage and be on top of their payments themselves. Check out the payment style by old Argos, you can pay towards a specific plan or just pay in general. This would clear the doubts I currently experience with paying off multiple items . PayPal needs to be fair & Objective...

PayPal is really good, they are my go to credit facility especially with their deals of pay no interest if item £99 or over is paid in full within 3-4 months. The only problem I find with their service is their T’s & Cs which favours sellers over buyers, especially doggie sellers who take advantage of innocent buyers . PayPal force the buyer to pay return shipping fee instead of getting the seller who sent an item that is not as described to organise to collect their doggie item. That is really unacceptable making buyers suffer when the seller should be penalised. The buyer’s time is water, item doesn’t meet deadline and then left out of pocket in return shipping fee. This seems to be the norm which really needs to change asap. I have been a victim of this unprofessional dealing more than once and I found out in my investigation that it is part of their resolution.. My point is if the item I was shown in advert was delivered I would not be trying to return it in the first place, there would be no issues or complaints but if it is not as described and PayPal can verify the same getting me, the victim to be out of pocket to get the doggie company’s item back to them is unacceptable. I reported to consumer rights etc as their T’s &Cs really needs amending . I hope they fix this soon. Reviewed on: 26th May 2025
